What are they?

Quite simply, a revolution in the UK conservatory industry. Tiled roofs have been around for years and are popular in the USA, Canada and Australia, but are relatively new to the UK, due to a change in building regulations in 2010.

Our tiled roof converts your conservatory into a useable all year round sun-lounge with amazing insulating properties. With all the appearance of a "normal" tiled roof they improve the appearance of your conservatory and change the "feel" to be more like a well lit lounge.

The Framework is light aluminium rafters with tanalised timber batons. To this are fixed the 65mm insulated plasterboard and skimming, PIR insulated board, exterior ply boards and finally the lightweight tiles. There is a choice of 10 colours and skylights can be fitted if required.

Because of the benefits they are increasingly being fitted as replacements to existing conservatories and we recommend them for new builds. And don't worry - they do comply with building regulations!

What's involved?

For you - very little we just ask that the room be cleared or at the very least your furniture is covered.

For us - we begin with a site survey visit to view the existing roof and discuss with you what you require and how we can achieve it. With so many options and configurations available you'll be surprised at the transformation the end result makes to your new room.

The next thing you know is that our team of specialist trained roofers arrive to remove the old roof and fit the new one. We remove all debris and either send it for re-cycling or for disposal in an environmentally approved manner at an environmentally approved site.

Depending on your requirements our specialist electricians will install any interior or exterior lighting, fans etc. and our decorators and plasterers will finish the interior ceiling.
